The company setup operations at plot no. 23D, Sector A, Sanwer Road Industrial Area, indore (M.P.) in 1988, under technical guidance of Mr. Ashok Jaiswal, who is Managing. Director of the company. The company achieved peak performance in the very first financial year of operations. The company has focused on developing export as a business strategy.
 

Now, the company has exported more than 30% of its total sales. The designing and R&D department is continuously modifying the products to serve plastic industry. The company is also increasing its product range time to time and now manufacturing single and twin both types of extruders. In a short span "SMTPL" has installed more than 700 extruder lines globally.

Last year "SMTPL" has moved towards the development of higher output plant and machinery of HDPE/LDPE and LLDPE pipes, and also introduced 450 kgs. per hour capacity LDPE/LLDPE 5 Mtr. width film and tubing plants. Company also developed Silicon Coated Self Lubricated HDPE Telecom Duct Pipe Plant which is used specially for covering of optical fiber cables. Till now company has stalled more than 7 plants successfully with very high, level of. customer satisfaction. Company is well placed to continue its growth as it caters the need of a growing industry and the expanding market.
